The purpose of this site or what I am attempting to do

Sunny - Sat Dec 06 2003, 06:51PM - Washington, D.C.

The purpose of this website and its content is to explore the problem space of collaborative problem solving and actualize the necessary solutions.

The daVinci Concept is meant to expand the intellectual reach of the common man.
The daVinci Concept will attempt to broaden the field of reason (of the intellectual process) of the modern man, the common man, the modern day da Vinci, which should be every man. This is the daVinci Concept. This industry will make its mark by simplifying the process of creating and protecting intellectual property.

Poetic Publishing will be used as a means to develop a method collaborative problem solving.
Poetic Publishing is a means of collaborative authoring across a distance and a venue for online publishing. Through this means the daVinci Concept will come to fruition by fostering new ideas. Poetic Publishing acts as the front-end for the collaboration of individuals with ideas.

This website has a philosophical basis
Each and every individual must independently choose to use his mind at every juncture and this is a choice that each of us makes. But first, the individual must know that they have this choice to make. Our culture, meaning human cultures, often make it appear as if the use of one's mind requires knowledge beyond what any individual could ever know from his direct perception and conceptualization of reality. Human 'knowledge' often claims to be from a source that is beyond human understanding. This is absolutely false. Regardless of the number of people to believe an idea, no number of believers 'makes' things true. Attrition (in any sense) has no ability to create.

This misconception of our culture causes us to misconstrue the concept of change. We think, 'THEY should make it THIS way', that THEY should improve a thing, because it lacks a certain feature or property that we have just identified and that we apparently value. Good ideas do not form out of the ether or thin air. They are formed within the minds of individuals who actualize their thought. Here, actualize means: "To realize in action or make real." They fervently worked toward the ends that they saw were within reach.
